I upgraded to X2Pro5 from X2Pro and I’m not able to create an AAF File. I’m doing all the correct steps, after the program shows the AAF has been created it’s not showing in the folder. Here’s a screen record of the steps I’ve taken. It’s very frustrating as I can’t get a xml into protools to edit currently. please help.
X2Pro5 conversion process in FCPX 11.1, Mac OSX 15.7.3
Can you launch the X2Pro5 app, create a new folder on the desktop, drag this into the destination AAF location on the app, and initiate another AAF creation. Can you please forward any .txt or log from this new desktop location please.
Hi James, I’ve attached the .txt file that was created in the new desktop folder. Does this mean I have to create AAF files on a desktop folder as opposed to my external raid folder of choice?
I assume the AAF was also created in the desktop folder ? If so then the issue is the access and rights the application has to the folder on your external raid. You might want to try creating a folder on your raid at the root level and attempt to use this, and then see if you can create a folder lower than the root and then use this.
