ParticipantHi Marquis
I was beyond excited to use Worx4 X with FCP (v12 Build 445223) on my MacBook Pro M1 running MacOS 26.2 but I get (FCPXML) “Version 1.14 is not supported”. See paste below.
I see from a previous post a new version is WIP but do you have any news on how this is going? If it’s definitely going to happen I’ll be happy to wait but if it looks in doubt I’ll be claiming my $44 back from Tim Apple.

KeymasterHi John,
I would love to be able to say yes there will be a new version with 1.14 support, we are going to try to build a version but there are some issues in the build environment, we should know by the end of the week or is that too late for you ?
Yours Sincerely
James.

ParticipantHappy to wait until all hope is gone. You’re providing a great service and I want to support your work. Quite remarkable that Apple doesn’t think this function is worth their attention.

ParticipantHi James
Wondering if there’s any news on the build. Good or bad I should love to know if there’s a chance of it working on the latest version (v12) of FCP or if it’s DOA. I’m amazed that Apple hasn’t implemented it themselves. To me it seems totally obvious that anyone creating videos on FCP would want what you’re offering.

KeymasterHi John,
Sorry not good news. We were not able to submit a successful build to the AppStore last or this week, and the development road map has now prioritised other work. So realistically the dev’s are not going to be looking at working on Worx for probably a month. I will keep asking the Product Manager to push this work sooner.
Yours Sincerely
James.

ParticipantHi James
No worries. I’ve been there and know what it’s like at the coal face 😁😬. I’ll get a refund as you suggest and check back in a month or so.
Best

ParticipantUpdate: I’m such a d**k. I can’t believe I didn’t see this earlier but the Export gives an option to export to v1.12 and Worx4 now works !
Until Apple inevitably cut off the legacy option on xml exports I’m good.
If you do ever update I’ll be happy to test but for now it’s working and this will save me hours of labor!

KeymasterJohn,
as has previously been mentioned we shall be updating Worx4x and the update will include support for the latest XML versions but we have been experiencing some problems with submitting a build to the AppStore, once this is resolved you should be able to upgrade from there. -
