The media in the asset section is described as having 2 stereo pairs for a total of 4 audio channels.asset id=”r11″ name=”IMG_0291″ uid=”7631DC7105021964B6FBF1BBF40B5C6A” start=”0s” duration=”3775/600s” hasVideo=”1″ format=”r5″ hasAudio=”1″ videoSources=”1″ audioSources=”2″ audioChannels=”4″ audioRate=”48000″
However when the asset is described in the fcpxml (twice) it lists 5 channels of audio, at which point we go “pop”.
Will pop you a mail if you could forward the .mov that is badly referenced in the FCPXML.

And we will see what we can do.Yours Sincerely
James.

Thanks for the reply. Aready fixed that one (just deleted the channels), but now we have r29. Do you know how I can find these clips so I don’t have to bother you?
Thanks
11/10/2024 at 4:48 pm #934James CarrickKeymasterHi Andrepilli,
Excellent news, if you drill down to the info.xml contained in the fcp,xml and open this in a text editor (notepad will do) search for r29 and near the top the first instance of the name will be in the asset section, in fact if the same xml it will be this bit.
asset id=”r29″ name=”IMG_0126″ uid=”7943083826DA3D13EDD738DF7E22CF23″ start=”0s” duration=”4777/600s” hasVideo=”1″ format=”r5″ hasAudio=”1″ videoSources=”1″ audioSources=”2″ audioChannels=”4″ audioRate=”48000″>
media-rep kind=”original-media” sig=”7943083826DA3D13EDD738DF7E22CF23″ src=”file:///Volumes/4TB%20SSD/2024/iPhone%2016%20Pro%20Max%20vs.%20Ca%CC%82mera%20de%201M%20de%20reais/Transfer/IMG_0126.MOV”>The mov above is used once but it references 5 audio channels even though according to the asset description it is only 4.

We have been discussing here, and it looks like we could work around the discrepancy between the asset details in the XML and the actual MOV file.
Would you be able to forward us either asset r29
file:///Volumes/4TB%20SSD/2024/iPhone%2016%20Pro%20Max%20vs.%20Ca%CC%82mera%20de%201M%20de%20reais/Transfer/IMG_0126.MOVor asset r11
file:///Volumes/4TB%20SSD/2024/iPhone%2016%20Pro%20Max%20vs.%20Ca%CC%82mera%20de%201M%20de%20reais/Transfer/IMG_0291.MOVWill pop you a separate mail with upload details.
If you can forward either that would be fab.
Many thanks.
James.
