Used roles versus X2P roles

Screenshot attached. On the left, you’ll see the roles I used for an edit. On the right, you’ll see the X2P selection with has many audio channels I intentionally left out.

Any idea why it’s suggesting those? I do not want to send them to the mixer.

Dear Filmyak,

We list all the roles within the XML we are given, are you able to upload the FCPXML for us to investigate. It may be that the roles are marked as not used in the XML and will not be created in the AAF but are still present in the XML. Would need the XML to run through here to create an AAF and cross check for you.

Part of the frustration is I have no way of double checking the AAF once it’s done, so I don’t know what is sent to the mixers. Not sure how to do that part, lol.

Hi,

Disabled roles will still be included in the AAF, but the audio is disabled. DB level is set to -96.
