      Hi all,

We have been looking for some time into an issue that a few of you have had where we are failing to open or find Proxy Media referenced in a FCPXML. In the initial parse of the XML we looked for all media, and would fail if any clip referenced could not be found. However if the original existed there should be no need to check that its proxy is available.

If you experience this issue please let us know and we will supply you with a temporary fix until we release the next version on the AppStore.

      Yours sincerely

      James

Hi there. I seem to be having this problem and this project is very time sensitive. I need some help please. I’m running FCP 12.2 on a 2022 Mac Studio/64GB Ram/Sequoia 15.7.1. I’ve tried repeatedly to make an AAF from an fcpxml and the app keeps telling me that it can’t find the transcoded proxy media even though I’m not using any proxy media and the originals are online. I’ve figured out that the warning is for the audio of my XMF video files. Not sure why. I’ve attached my log file for the failed AAF and the xml that I’m trying to pull from. I can’t get this working soon enough so godspeed James Carrick. Sooner the better as everyone over here is sweating profusely.

            James V.
