Hello. I am a legacy x2pro user. I have been extracting aaf from fcpXML for several years. However, I recently received a complaint from the mixing room.
They say that aaf is not cut off by frame, but by sample rate (or quarter frame). And the timing of the cutoff is random. They say that they are adjusting it manually in the mixing room. Will this be solved if I purchase x2pro5?

I would like to use a trial version that solves this problem before that. Is this possible?

        Hi June,

Am not sure what the editors mean with the AAF cut off by sample rate not by frame. FCPX uses fractions not frames, an AAF in ProTools uses frames. There will always be very slight discrepancy between a fraction and a frame. Happy to look at it if the Editor can highlight in a screen shot what they thought was wrong in ProTools and if you can upload the source fcpxml.

We don’t have a trial version of the code, I would suggest that you purchase it, try it, and if it does not do what your Editor wants then ask for a refund which the AppStore will do.

        Hope the above helps.

        Yours Sincerely

        James.
