      Hello everyone at X2Pro!

I’ve encountered the “the file doesn’t exist” error. I’ve read through the posts on the forum and tried moving the file to my Desktop, as well as trying FCPXML 1.12, 1.13, and 1.14. I’m currently using FCPX 12.3.

Is there any way to fix this? I need to send the AAF file urgently.

And once I unchecked the “Embed media” option, I was able to export the AAF file without encountering any errors.

Can anyone make the Embed media works please!!!!!

          Dear Pham,

Exactly when do you get the “file does not exist” error ?
Do you get it when you drop the FCPXMLD into the source window on the application ?

If you do then the FCPXMLD is probably embedded inside another FCPXMLD.

Copy the FCPXMLD to your desktop.
create a folder called Test on your desktop.
Using finder look at the FCPXMLD, right click and select “show package contents”
What do you see ? Do you see another FCPXMLD ?
If you do then “show package contents” on this, you should then see a info.fcpxml
copy this info.fcpxml into the “Test” folder.

Import the info.fcpxml into the X2Pro source window.

          Yours Sincerely

          James
