I converted my MXF video to Apple ProRes and re-did my edit. The export to AAF works this way with the same settings. So, I understand that your software doesn’t support MXF files. Is it possible to fix this issue? Thank you.
We rely on Apple’s AVFoundation to read the media for all but R3D files (we use the R3D SDK for them). There is limited MXF support in AVFoundation, we have asked Apple whether they intend to expand what is supported in AVFoundation and we have had no indication that they are going to.
Yours Sincerely
James.
