Good morning, I need urgent help because the programme is giving me the error: File does not exist. I’ve tried every possible solution and I can’t get it to work. I’ve used it many times before and it’s always worked fine without any problems, but now there’s no way to get it to work. Could it be due to updates to Mac or X2Pro?
My computer is: MacBook Pro M1 Max
      Operating system: Tahoe 26.3.1
      I have X2Pro5 Version 5.0.44
The XML I’m exporting is from the Final Cut version licensed by APPLE CREATOR STUDIO, and the XML version could be 1.12, 1.13 or 1.14
      Please, I need a solution.
      It’s very urgent
      Many thanks in advance

        Dear Anuskamp,

I think the issue is the FCPXMLD, to workaround can you go into the FCPXMLD, and go down a level until you see the info.fcpxml, you may have to go down two levels to get to it. Can you copy the info.fcpxml, and then drag and drop this info.fcpxml into the X2Pro5 application.

        Yours Sincerely

        James.

Thank you very much for your reply, but I’ve already tried that several times and I keep getting the same error. I need to sort this out. Perhaps I should try a different version of X2Pro? But on the App Store, I can’t download any version other than the one I currently have. Thank you very much for your help.

You said that the XML could be 1.12 1.13 or 1.14, which are you using? 1.14 is not supported yet and will cause errors.

              Hi Anuskamp,

Can you just attach the fcpxmld to this thread and we can take a look at it.

              Many thanks

              James.

                  Dear Anuskamp,

There are errors when trying to read the fcpxmld, please copy the info.fcpxml attached and drag and drop this onto the Source XML window in the X2Pro5 gui.

                  Yours Sincerely

                  James.

I’ve imported the info.fcoxml file, but I’m still getting the same error. I’d already tried that before. What can I do now?
                    Thank you very much.

I’ve also noticed that I’m not the first person this has happened to.
                      Thank you very much.

                        Dear Anuskamp,

With reference to the attached picture, how have you got the gui configured ? Can you send a screen shot. Do you see the name of your file in the left window, and do you see a folder in the right ? Can you create a folder on your desktop and drag and drop this onto the Destination AAF Folder window.

If you still get an error message then I think we will have to arrange a remote session. Will forward you separately contact details.

                        Yours Sincerely

                        James.
