Trying to get audio to mixer, and running into this error.
Any idea on what caused it, and how I can fix it?

Error code: 0x80000004Going to expand on this issue. I have media drives. Three are ExFat, and I can’t add them to the media locations. The 4th is APFS and loads without issue.
Is there a trick to getting ExFat drives mounted? I don’t have enough drive space to move the items around and remake the drives as APFS. (Received the media drives as ExFat from client. The FCP library is on the APFS, as is some additional media.)

Hi Filmyak,
The error with adding sample data for asset r20.7 looks like the media cannot be read by AVFoundation. We would need to look at your fcpxmld to see what clip is actually referenced as r20.7. Alternatively if you can find r20.7 and transcode this to an AVFoundation friendly codec (prores). That should be that.
Regarding the drives, it will be an operating system issue, we sit one side of it, and the drive on the other. Are you able to use these fat drives with FCP ?

When you are adding the drive, can you add a folder from inside the drive rather than the mounted drive itself. We discovered that it was possible to drag into the Source media window, individual files, which is not desirable so restricted the application to reject anything other than a folder.

Yes, I tried the individual files, but it kept telling me it had no access to those drives. And it was odd because other drives I WAS able to add. Why are some drives ok, and others are not? is it the ExFat formatting? or is that just coincidence?

Can you give all users read / write access on those drives.
Next thing to try would to go to “Apple Icon” (top left), “System Settings”, “Privacy and Security”, “Full Disk Access”, search for the X2Pro5 app. and then add it.
