      Hello,
I’m trying to export an AAF from Final Cut Pro 10.6.8 using X2Pro convert 4.5.16
Tested using XML version 1.10 and 1.11

Export stops with this message displayed

An error occurred converting Final Cut XML to AAF

      Writing AAF file
      Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [render] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 0 of asset [render]
Reading audio data from audio extractor : 524288 samples
      Failed to read 524288 samples
Error Extracting audio data (read 1939968 bytes of 2097152 required) (The operation could not be completed)

No AAF file has been generated.

I’ve set Media Locations and verify against FCP XML, everything’s fine
The weird issue is that no specific file is listed in the error message, exept “asset [render]” wich I don’t have in the FCP timeline.
I’ve exported AAF from another project with no issue.

        Hi Oliaza

It appears that the asset (render) is possibly shorter than how it is described in the FCPXMLD, you might want to check where the asset occurs in your project and reduce the length there. Alternatively you could upload the FCPXML and we could see if we could modify it.

        Yours Sincerely

        James.
