        I have the same kind of error message:
        “Cannot Open
        file:///Volumes/Promise%20RAID/PHOTOS/Spencer%20The%20Gardener/Media/Spencer%20at%20Paso%20Robles%20(2022-4-6)/C200/A009C262_220407EV_CANON.CRM”

        I’m running:
        MacOS Sequoia 15.5, FCP 11.1. Used default XML output settings.

        Each time I run x2Pro5, a different file is in the error message.

        The XML is 26MB.

        Please advise. I just bought x2Pro and am under time pressure to send to sound mixer.

          Dear Robert,

          The issue is that Apple’s AVFoundation does not support the cannon .crm files. So X2Por5 will not. The only workaround is to convert the .crm to an AVFoundation friendly format like ProRes and in .mov or .mxf.

          We have asked Cannon for the SDK, as we did with R3D so we can open them outside of AVFoundation but they have not supplied it.
