Hi,
We purchased X2Pro5 through Apple VPP for use on managed macOS devices in classroom environments. We typically deploy software through Apple VPP and assign licenses on a per-device basis through our MDM solution.
After deployment, we found that the application requires users to sign in on each Mac before it can be used. This is problematic for us because these are shared classroom devices, and for security and administrative reasons we do not want personal Apple IDs to be signed in on them.
Our goal is to deploy and use X2Pro5 on managed Macs via Apple VPP without requiring end users to sign in with an Apple ID.
What makes this particularly confusing is that we did not experience this issue with previous versions of X2Pro. We have used earlier version successfully without needing an Apple ID on the device, so we are trying to understand why this is now required.
Are there any alternative licensing or activation methods available for educational institutions using shared classroom Macs? If anyone has encountered the same issue, we would be very interested in hearing about possible solutions or workarounds.

Something changed in the Apple AppStore submission process, we are still waiting for Apple to advise our developers what exactly they changed where. There is a workaround until we hear back from Apple. Will mail you directly.
