AAF Clip Names Same as Sequence

Hi,

When I export out an AAF and import into Resolve (v18.6) I see that the track names include the audio role names but the clips are named after the sequence naming convention. Is there a way to also see the clip names in the sequence?

Dear Edupell,

I am not sure there is a lot we can do about this as we are writing an AAF that can be specifically read by ProTools, we would have to build an option for Resolve. Will see what the possibilities are and get back to you.

Dear Edupell,

In the latest build in test, if you create an AAF and reference the media then the track names and channel names in Resolve should match, if you embed the media then track names will be ok but channel names will take information from source media. I can make this build available to you if you would like. We currently cannot do much more without having issues in ProTools or MC with the embedded AAF.
