There seems to be a final MacOS wrinkle which causes ‘Cannot Open’ errors. It seems that folders created before the upgrade can’t reliably be reused after installing the latest build. If you see a ‘Cannot Open’ message the try creating a new folder on your desktop and putting the FCPXML in it and convert it from there, also use the same folder as the AAF output folder.
