    Thanks for the response James. Though I don’t know code, I believe I follow what you are saying at least at a conceptual level.

    When I tried to get this to work, I dragged in all of the folders into the Media Locations. They were all contained on that drive. Oh, also, I made sure that I had permissions to all files on that drive.

    As I said, and you understood, I don’t have the drive any more. I can get a clone of it and once I have that, I can circle back to this. It might be instructive. Perhaps you have hit upon the issue with R3D files. Or maybe this is a fluke.
