Hi Minister
I cannot see anything wrong with the XML’s and there is only one reference to the r3d file. We use the same r3d sdk in both X2Pro and X2Pro5 so there is probably nothing wrong with the essence itself. Things that are different is that Apples security in bookmarks appears to be slightly different between code built in ObjectC and code built in Swift for the latest chip set. R3D files generally contain multiple files, and the bookmark references the first in the string of files, but not the subsequent ones. Have tried to reproduce the same failure here in the lab but cannot, however I think the issue is that we cannot read the subsequent files that make up the r3d file that is referenced.
Did you add the containing folder for this r3d file in the X2Pro5 configuration as a media location. i.e. file:///Volumes/Full%20Stops/Full%20Stops%2030%20Show.fcpbundle/Performance%20Red%20Shawn%20061124/Original%20Media/
If you did then we need to look at something else being the cause, if you did not then I guess you are not now in a position to try ?
If you still have access to the AAF you created using X2Pro, if you load it into ProTools do you see a file called “A001_C007_0101QL_007” in it, and is there audio with it ?
Yours Sincerely
James
